Tribeca and CHANEL came together in support of women in film in Fall 2022. Through Her Lens: The Tribeca CHANEL Women’s Filmmaker Program promotes emerging and independent voices. From funding and project support to dedicated mentorship, this multifaceted three-day program champions up-and-coming U.S.-based women and non-binary writers, directors and producers. With guidance from Tribeca, one of the country’s most engaged and respected supporters of women writers and directors, Through Her Lens helps foster these vital voices in their professional and artistic development.

We partnered with a talented group of creatives to bring the inspirational and empowering stories of six influential women in the film world to life. Exploring the concepts of authenticity, duality and the idea of tension between two opposing forces which eventually become a driving force for change and creativity, and how we all carry  an authentic blend of femininity and masculinity inside of us. Through this narrative, our talent shares the personal stories and experiences that illustrate how they bring their whole, unvarnished selves to the forefront in their cinematic work, in front of and/or behind the camera.
